Guest Biographies
Chaplain (Lieutenant Colonel) Douglas “Doug” A Brock, Sr. NY Army National Guard
CH Brock is a 1985 graduate of Mount Eden High School, Hayward, CA. He enlisted in 1985 in the Air Force as a Ground Radio Technician and served in Iceland and Texas. In 1997, he graduated from Davis College in Binghamton with a Bachelor in Religious Education, with an emphasis in Cross-Cultural Missions. He commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Chaplain Candidate program and attended Liberty Theological Seminary, where he graduated in 2008. He accessioned as a Chaplain in the NYARNG in April 2008. He deployed to Kuwait in 2013 with the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade and again in 2020 with the 42nd Infantry Division. Chaplain Brock’s awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (twice), Army Commendation Medal (twice), Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation, and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. In addition to his National Guard service, he was the Pastor of the Straits Corners Baptist Church from 1999 to 2021.
Captain Natasha J. Vanreil NY Air National Guard
Capt Vanreil has been in the Air Force 24 years. She joined in December 1996 and was stationed at Laughlin AFB, Texas from March 1997 to December 2000. After separating from Active Duty, she joined the Air Force Reserve. Currently she is a Medical Service Corps (MSC) officer at the 105th Medical Group, Stewart ANG. an Air Force medical administrative personnel, first enlisted and now an officer, Capt Vanreil has had the opportunity to travel and assist our wounded military members in Hawaii, San Antonio, and Ramstein, Germany where she was deployed for five months. She was also activated last summer from July to September to assist the medical group with administrative duties during the pandemic. In addition to her military service, she has been an employee at M&T Bank for 20 years, first as an administrative assistant to the previous CEO and Chairman of the Board for 17 years and now as technology support to the executive leadership. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Economics in 1996. She has an Associate Degree in Health Administration from the College of the Air Force and an MBA from Regis University
