[ARCHIVED] "Dine 325" New Rochelle Restaurant Week July 8-11

In continued celebration of our City’s 325th Anniversary, twenty-one local restaurants will open their doors for the City’s first annual Restaurant Week July 8-11. “Dine 325” features delicious cuisine at savory prices, with special menus and “3/25”- three course meals for twenty- five dollars. Enjoy foods from every hemisphere in unique and beautiful settings, from waterfront to cosmopolitan!

“Dine 325 continues the spirit of our year-long anniversary celebration, bringing our people together in appreciation of their diverse traditions and rich culinary array,” noted 325th Anniversary Chair Marianne Sussman. “This multicultural dining opportunity – at an enticing price -- leads up to Bastille Day, our annual City Hall recognition of the French Huguenot roots of our City, celebrated this year on Friday, July 12. The 325th Anniversary Committee hopes that many residents and guests as well join us for these special events.”

Participating restaurants include: A Place to Go, AJ’s Burgers, Alvin & Friends, The Beechmont Tavern, Cienega Restaurant, Cornerstone Grille, Coromandel Cuisine of India, Don Coqui, Gemelli Pizzeria & Restaurant, Gnarly Vine, Ionian Grill & Café, La Herradura, The Marina grill, Modern Restaurant & Lounge, NoMa Social at the Radisson Hotel, Posto 22, Pronto Pizza & Pasta, Siete Ocho Siete, Smokehouse Grill, Sweet Potatoes and Zabidury Freestyle Cuisine. Dine 325 is one of many events celebrating the 325th anniversary of the City of New Rochelle during 2013. In June, the City hosted the mayoral delegation from our Sister City of La Rochelle, France and organized a cluster of events including a 325th Anniversary Gala, an Opera performance, and a Fatt Calf Ceremony. Upcoming events include a Bastille Day Ceremony on Friday, July 12 at 10AM at City Hall, and the New Rochelle Jazz Festival on Library Green July 13 and 14.
