May 2, 2023 notice from VEOLIA:

Over the next several weeks, Veolia crews will be flushing fire hydrants and blow offs in the City of New Rochelle. This work will be performed between the hours of 7:30 am and 4 pm. Workers will be carrying company identification cards for your security.                         

• Hydrant flushing may temporarily cause slight discoloration of water and a decrease in water pressure. 
• During the flushing period, please make sure to check your cold water for discoloration. 
• If you experience discoloration, please run your cold water in a basement sink for 15-20 minutes or until it runs clear before attempting to do laundry.
