On February 13th, 2023, at about 1:37am, New Rochelle Police received a call from a stabbing victim, who told 911 operators that he had just been stabbed and further gave them a description of the suspect, and the vehicle the suspect used to flee the scene. The victim then hung up the line and went to the hospital on his own. New Rochelle Police Officers were able to quickly locate and arrest the suspect at the intersection of North Avenue and Garden Street.
Officers responded to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital and located the victim, a 23-year-old male New Rochelle resident, who later underwent surgery and was listed as being in stable condition.
