On November 29th, 2022 at about 3:49pm, New Rochelle Police received a call that a dispute led to a stabbing at a home on Lafayette Avenue in the West End of New Rochelle.  Officers responded and found a female victim who was pregnant with two minor stab wounds to her abdomen.  The suspect, a female who was an acquaintance of the victim, had already fled the scene.  The victim was transported to Westchester Medical Center for treatment and was released soon thereafter.  New Rochelle Police canvassed the area and found the suspect at the end of Union Avenue near the intersection with 9th Street.  She was taken into custody without incident.

Naisanagelly Sanchez, 19 years of age, of New Rochelle, NY.

CHARGES:

New York State Penal Law 120.05 – Assault 2nd Degree – D Felony
