Queen City of The Sound International Jazz Festival - 9/17 and 10/8

A revival of Jazz has emerged in New Rochelle, New York! New Rochelle is on its way to becoming the next jazz destination by hosting its second annual International Jazz Festival. "Queen City of the Sound International Jazz Festival” is Westchester County's premier international jazz festival. Global Jazz Community in partnership with the City of New Rochelle, presents two feature dates.

DATES AND LOCATION OF JAZZ FESTIVAL

Saturday, September 17th, 2022 @2PM and

Saturday, October 1, 2022 @1PM-- UPDATED TO 10/8

Ruby Dee Park, 1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle, New York.

Both dates will offer free and live performances by world class musicians

FEATURED MUSICIANS INCLUDING GRAMMY AWARD WINNERS

Some feature musicians performing at the "Queen City Of The Sound International Jazz Festival" in New Rochelle include Grammy award winners Roberto Quintero, and Oscar Hernández (with the Spanish Harlem Orchestra), as well as the world class artistry of Carlitos Padron, Global Jazz Community Allstar Latin Band, Rocky Middleton Jazz Ensemble and more!

ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS

Bringing this talent to New Rochelle is Global Jazz Community, an organization dedicated to the presentation, understanding, and preservation of jazz music. Recognizing the elevating and metamorphic benefits of jazz, and the reach this genre has on the world, the City of New Rochelle in partnership with Global Jazz Community brings new life into New Rochelle through this musical artform.
