Continuing the celebration of July as Parks and Recreation Month, residents are invited to enjoy open space on Fosina Field at Flowers City Park on Monday nights through mid- August. No reservations or fees are required- just bring your own ball or sports equipment and come on down!
“Our new ‘Summer Recess’ program is the perfect opportunity for outdoor recreation while the days are long and the nights are warm,” said Parks and Rec Commissioner Vin Parise.
Fosina Field will be open from 6:30-9:30 PM, weather permitting. Parental supervision is required. Please wear athletic footwear/ molded cleats (no metal spikes allowed). Food is not permitted on the field but water/sports drink bottles allowed.
