This is the City of New Rochelle with a message about upcoming events celebrating our community’s rich culture.

On Saturday, please join us for a “Taste of Union” in the West End, featuring authentic Latin American foods, live music and children’s activities. This inaugural event will take place from noon to 7:00 pm between First and Fourth Streets. A free shuttle will run between the Transit Center garage and the event site.

Our La Rochelle Sister City Committee will celebrate Bastille Day on Friday night with an evening of Jazz at Five Islands Park, and a second concert on Saturday night at the Hudson Park Bandshell.

Also, every Tuesday through the end of the summer, join our downtown BID and library for the 20th Annual International Dance and Music Festivals in the Ossie Davis Theater, and on Thursday evenings, enjoy family-friendly performances on Library Green with specially priced “Picnic” meals for purchase.

All this is in addition to our Summer Sounds Concert Series on Wednesdays and Fridays, outdoor yoga, free “moonlight” outdoor movies on Saturday evenings, and so much more.

For information on all of these events, visit the City website www.newrochelleny.com/events or follow us on social media.

Thanks for reading and have a great summer.
