Open Enrollment For New York State of Health Extended

Residents and small businesses can continue to renew or enroll in a 2022 Qualified Health Plan with NY State of Health, the official health plan Marketplace. Due to the pandemic, a deadline for enrollment has not yet been set. Enrollment in Medicaid, Child Health Plus, the Essential Plan and the Small Business Marketplace is open year-round.

Call the Westchester County Department of Health Navigator Program at (914) 995-6350 for free help in multiple languages at no charge or email hnav@westchestergov.com. Some plans offer dental coverage for adults and families.

American Rescue Plan Act tax credits remain available through 2022 to help New Yorkers pay for Qualified Health Plan coverage. This enhanced financial assistance can reduce the cost of premiums for current and new enrollees, including higher-income individuals for the first time.

To learn more about health coverage, go to www.nystateofhealth.ny.gov or call 1-855-355-5777. The NY

State of Health customer service hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-8pm, and Saturday, 9am-1pm. For more health information, go to www.westchestergov.com/health.
