On Thursday January 27, 2022 at about 1:47am, New Rochelle Detectives were notified that an occupied stolen car was in the vicinity of Main Street and Kings Highway.   Detectives responded and observed the vehicle at the gas station located at 819 Main Street.  As Detectives converged on the car, all 5 occupants of the vehicle fled on foot and a foot pursuit ensued.  4 out of the 5 suspects were apprehended.  A loaded 7.65mm Crvena Zastava handgun was found in the vehicle.

ARRESTED:

3 male juveniles, all from the Bronx, NY – their names withheld due to New York Juvenile Arrest Laws

Tyshon Spencer, 18 years of age, of the Bronx, NY, currently on Parole for Attempted Murder.

CHARGES:

Penal Law 265.03 Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd degree – C Felony

Penal Law 165.03 Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3^rd degree – D Felony
