As the people of New York repair and rebuild their homes, FEMA has teamed with Lowe’s in Garden City and The Home Depot in New Rochelle to provide free information and tips on how to make homes damaged by natural disasters stronger and safer.
FEMA specialists will be available at the location listed below to answer questions and offer tips and techniques for building hazard-resistant homes to help prevent or reduce damage from future disasters. Most information is geared for do-it-yourself and general contractors’ work.
