This is the City of New Rochelle with a fall events reminder and invitation. As our community continues to recover from the COVID pandemic, we are able once again to enjoy outdoor and family-friendly activities. This Saturday from noon to 5:00pm, come downtown to Library Green for New Rochelle’s Jazz Festival, features jazz artists from around the world in free performances. On Sunday, the Paine to Pain half-marathon kicks off at Paine Cottage and concludes at New Rochelle High School. Watch for runners at crossings throughout the north end. Then, next weekend, from October 15th through 17th, ArtsFest returns, with dozens of venues in New Rochelle and Pelham, showcasing local talent. Visit newrochellearts.org for all the details.
And there’s more this Fall: Scarecrows on the Sound, the Merchant’s Urchin Parade, and Pumpkin Painting, along with recreational programming for youth and seniors. Information on all of these events can be found on the City’s social media sites and at www.newrochelleny.com.
