On September 28th, 2021, at about 11:20am, New Rochelle Police Officers and Officers from the Real Time Crime Center at Westchester County Police Headquarters were notified that a wanted party was in a vehicle driving through the South Side of New Rochelle.  New Rochelle Police Detectives located the vehicle and conducted a stop on Stephenson Boulevard.  Further investigation led to Detectives finding a loaded 9mm handgun in the car and the arrest of all three occupants.

Arrested:

• Nasiem Lopez, 22 years of age, of White Plains, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree Loaded Firearm, and with a Warrant out of Pelham for Reckless Endangerment.
• Juan c. Mejia-Guizar, 31 years of age, of New Rochelle, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree – Loaded Firearm.
• Freddy Sandoval, 24 years of age, of New Rochelle, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree – Loaded Firearm
