This is the City of New Rochelle with storm recovery information for Monday, September 13.

The normal sanitation schedule resumes this week.  All waste, including yard waste, will be picked according to the usual schedule and disposal policies available at newrochelleny.com/dpw.

The single exception is construction and demolition debris, such as building materials, sheetrock, flooring, and lumber.  These items are ordinarily handled privately by homeowners or contractors, but the City is making a temporary exception for storm damages.  As we reported last week, to register for the pickup of construction and demolition debris, you must contact DPW by 4:30pm today at 914-235-4654.  After that, construction and demolition debris will revert to a private responsibility, as usual.
