The New Rochelle Police Exam is being offered on September 18th, and recruitment has taken a new twist. A new campaign, “NRPDHireMe”, inspires applicants to think about their motivation for taking the test.
“It’s a new take on traditional recruitment,” explained Lt. Ed Hayes. “This message is both an outreach and a challenge to the next generation of officers, whose ideas, energy, empathy and enthusiasm will join with ours to get us to the next level. They are our future.”
The New Rochelle Police Department has been recognized nationally and internationally for excellence, receiving numerous awards over the years for Quality in Law Enforcement and Community Policing. The City of New Rochelle has also consistently ranked as one of the top safest cities among similarly-sized municipalities nationwide.
