On June 14th at approximately 5:30 a.m., New Rochelle Police Officers responded to a private residence on Leviness Place on a report of an Abduction.   

Upon arrival, Subsequent investigation revealed that at approximately 4:30 a.m., a 32-year-old female was abducted from her residence by her ex-boyfriend Delmar Findlay aged 40 of Mount Vernon, NY.  The suspect then fled the location in a vehicle with the victim.

Further investigation resulted in the suspect being located in a private residence on Hillside Avenue in Mount Vernon. A Search Warrant and an Arrest Warrant were issued, and the suspect was taken into custody by New Rochelle Police Officers and Mount Vernon Police Officers. The victim was located inside of the Hillside Avenue location, and had sustained abrasions to the top of her feet.

It is anticipated that Suspect/Findlay will be charged in Mount Vernon on an active warrant as well as charges related to this incident, and will be turned over to New Rochelle Police at a later time for pending charges.
