[ARCHIVED] Memorial Day Weekend Update from New Rochelle Parks

With the Memorial Day weekend as the unofficial start to summer recreation, New Rochelle Parks will be open to residents with safety guidelines in place.

Hudson Park Beach will be open weekends beginning Saturday May 29-31 and continue until June 28. Admission will be limited to residents only. Parking is free for Parks Passport holders and $5 for residents without a valid Park Passport. In the interest of health and safety, restroom facilities will be open and sanitized frequently. Outdoor showers are open. The sundeck will be open but with limited capacity.

Weekend and holiday parking admittance at Five Islands Park and Davenport Park will be for residents only from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Parking is free for Parks Passport holders and $5 for residents without a valid Park Passport. Restroom facilities will be open and will be sanitized.

All parks and natural trails are open.

“Our parks and facilities have been a mainstay for the community during the pandemic, and are now prepared for warm weather enjoyment as we join New York State in reopening,” said Parks & Recreation Commissioner Bill Zimmermann.
