“Stronger Together” is the theme of this year’s National Public Works Week, celebrating the value of public works professionals nationally and locally in the City of New Rochelle.
“Our staff in the Department of Public Works provides essential services all year long, throughout every season and in every kind of weather,” noted Commissioner James Moran. "This year’s theme recognizes how integral their contribution is, across all of our bureaus.”
The Department consists of six bureaus: Engineering, Traffic Services, Forestry, Sanitation, Sewers & Drains and Streets & Highways, each fulfilling a critical function. The City will be highlighting these important services on social media during Public Works Week.
