At 04:00am on November 9,2020, officers from the New Rochelle Police Department responded to Davis Ave in regards to a motor vehicle accident involving 1 car and a pole.
Upon arriving on scene, it was quickly determined that the vehicle in question (a Nissan Pathfinder) was actually in the process of being stolen and subsequently crashed while being pulled out of the owner’s driveway.
A witness was able to provide officers with descriptions of two suspects. A search of the area immediately yielded the two suspects, and after a brief foot pursuit, both parties were apprehended.
The suspects are identified as one Dayquan Raymond, 25 years old, from Harlem, NY and one Christopher Marshall, 20 years old, from Brooklyn, NY.
The suspects were arraigned on charges of Grand Larceny 4th degree and Criminal Mischief 3rd degree, both felonies, and then released as per the new Bail Reform Laws of New York State and are due back in court on November 23rd, 2020.
