NRPL Zoom Event: Three Leading Suffragists with Ties to New Rochelle

Tomorrow will mark the 100th Anniversary of the Ratification of the 19th Amendment. It was a long, tough battle.

Three of the women who were instrumental in the women’s suffrage movement had distinct ties to New Rochelle: Lucretia Mott, Susan B. Anthony and Carrie Chapman Catt.

In this illustrated presentation, you’ll hear about their dedication to the cause and their connection to New Rochelle, as well as local efforts by the women of our community.
