ConEdison is working to restore power in New Rochelle as about one third of the City is without service. Yesterday’s storm produced enormous damage throughout our region, leaving nearly 100,000 without power in Westchester County. Con Edison crews are initially prioritizing road clearance and critical facilities, and will then begin residential power restoration. While Con Ed has not yet provided an overall timetable for restoring electrical service, it is likely that full restoration will take many days.
Please continue to report outages directly to ConEd at 1-800-75-CONED and stay clear of all downed power lines. The outage map at outagemap.coned.com will be updated with restoration times for each neighborhood. Starting today, ConEd will distribute ice at the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers.
