Robocall sent June 3:
As many gather in protest across America and here in New Rochelle, our City stands in full support of advocates for justice, committed to the vital work of overcoming systemic racism. At the same time, the NRPD is working in partnership with community leaders to help ensure that all protests are safe and peaceful, and reflect the true spirit of New Rochelle. This past Sunday, civic and faith leaders gathered at City Hall in solidarity. To view the entire program, please visit newrochelleny.com/justicepeace.
If you choose to attend a demonstration, please remember that we are still in the middle of a pandemic. Protect your own health and respect the health of neighbors by wearing a mask and practicing physical distancing.
In other news, as our region looks ahead to a Phase II reopening, the City will resume enforcement of metered parking starting on Monday, June 8th. Additional information will follow, once our region’s Phase II opening date is confirmed.
As always, for additional resources or to learn how you can help, donate, or volunteer, visit newrochelleny.com/newrostrong. And for general information, visit newrochelleny.com/coronavirus.
Thank you for listening. Let us all stand together for justice, peace, and health in our community and nation.
