NewRo Cheers go out to third-grader Katherine Schwartz, who has a big heart and wants to share it! During the pandemic, Katherine started “Operation Senior Smile,” organizing her classmates from Ms. Zaccanino’s class at Ward Elementary School to write letters to homebound seniors. The letters were scanned and sent to the Hugh A. Doyle Senior Center, which then distributed them to its senior community in a safe manner.
