Robocall sent citywide, April 7:
This is Mayor Noam Bramson, with an update for April 7.
As we approach Passover and Easter, please remember that New York State has prohibited all non-essential gatherings of any size, including gatherings with extended family and friends. It’s hard, because we all want to be together with our loved ones, especially for the holidays, but these restrictions are essential to beating the virus, so let’s all do our part to overcome this challenge and save lives.
To report a violation of distancing requirements, please call the State’s Task Force at 1-833-789-0470. Restrictions will be enforced.
Last Friday evening, thousands of New Rochelleans took a minute to “Clap Because We Care,” in support of our health care and emergency service providers. Let’s keep doing this every single Friday at 7:00pm, until the crisis is over, showing that New Rochelle is strong, resilient, and united.
Thank you for listening. There’s always more information at newrochelleny.com/coronavirus.
