This is the City of New Rochelle with an invitation to take part in June activities, starting on Saturday with the opening of our Downtown Farmers Market on Library Green featuring fresh produce, baked goods, -- music and family fun. Also on the 1st is the fourth annual Senior Citizen Expo at the Hugh Doyle Senior Center, with a number of vendors who can help with every stage of aging. And there is more! Starting Friday, June 7 you can visit the Down to Earth Farmers Market at their new location in front of Thomas Paine Cottage Museum. The following day, Saturday, June 8 will feature our annual Fishing Derby at Huguenot Park.
On Sunday, June 23rd, the 18th annual Soap Box Derby will roll down Quaker Ridge Road. Plus, throughout the summer, you can learn to kayak or paddleboard at Five Islands Park through our partnership with L.L. Bean, and finally be sure to check out our Bike Share program at www.bikenewrochelle.com!
