Following the award this fall of Governor Cuomo’s $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative, the City’ Local Planning Committee has launched a project website www.newrochelledri.com to engage the public in the planning process.

 New Rochelle’s DRI initiative aims to forge stronger physical, economic, and social links between the Lincoln Avenue Corridor and the City’s burgeoning downtown. Through positive commercial, residential, recreational, and cultural development and revitalization, it will provide enhanced and equitable access to job opportunities, green space, human services, and multi-modal transportation, including safe and attractive pedestrian connections between the Lincoln Avenue Corridor and the downtown.
