[ARCHIVED] Register Now for the New Rochelle Open!

UPDATE: 10/11 - Due to low registration the adult tournament on Sunday, Oct 14 is canceled.

The New Rochelle Open, the City’s first annual tennis tournament, will be held at the Pinebrook Tennis Center October 13-14. The two-day event will consist of two different tournaments, for youth and adults. The event is open to all Westchester Residents!  (Rain date October 20-21)


The event is presented by New Rochelle Parks and Recreation, New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce, New Rochelle Racquet Club at Pine Brook Fitness, and the US Sports Institute. The organizer’s goal is to promote tennis play in the City, and to also help raise money to maintain and update the Pinebrook Tennis Center and its courts through the Friends of New Rochelle Parks.


On Saturday October 13th, youth, ages 12-14, level 2 players, will compete in a USTA Sanctioned Tournament. Registration fee is $38 and can be done online at the USTA website.  

All entries must be submitted by Sunday, October 07, 2018 7PM.  Only USTA members can register online, if not a member, please contact the New Rochelle Racquet Club.


On Sunday October 14th, adults will participate in a doubles tournament, broken up into Women’s 10am-12pm, Men’s 12-2pm, or Mixed 2-4pm. Registration fee is $50 and can be done online at the New Rochelle Racquet Club website. 


 US Sports Institute will be providing free tennis clinics on Saturday from 2-5pm and Sunday 10am-1pm, for youth ages 10 and under. Equipment will be provided. The Pinebrook Tennis Center is located on Pinebrook Blvd. at Albert Leonard Rd.
