December 20, 2017- New Rochelle Police detectives arrested Patrick Felix Menezes, a 24 year-old New Rochelle resident, and charged him with the commission of the armed robbery of the Dunkin Donuts located at 96 Main St, New Rochelle on December 19.
Our detectives, who have worked diligently on this case, developed information to identify a possible suspect vehicle. This led them to the suspect who was taken into custody just after midnight. Detectives executed a search warrant of the suspect’s home this morning and located a realistic looking pellet gun believed to have been used in the commission of the robbery.
Port Chester and North Castle Police detectives were notified due to recent similar robberies that occurred in their jurisdictions. Menezes has been charged with Robbery 2nd degree and is being held pending arraignment.
