On June 15, 2017 The Business Council of Westchester honored forty young rising stars who exemplify leadership, foresight and vision for the future of Westchester County. Included in the list of 40 stars under 40 were several people with ties to New Rochelle:

• Noel D’Allacco, Assistant Professor of Business Administration at The College of Westchester and local director of Operation Prom
• Joanne Dunn, Director of Employment Services at Westhab, Inc. and the director of the newly opened First Source Referral Center in New Rochelle
• Christina Rubicco, Owner of Anna & Jack’s Treehouse
