[ARCHIVED] Proposals Presented for 45 Harrison Street

The New Rochelle City Council viewed two presentations for the redevelopment of 45 Harrison Street at the May 9 Committee of the Whole meeting.

"We received a number of responses to our Request for Proposal earlier this year, and have narrowed it down to these two candidates," said Development Commissioner Luiz Aragon. “These presentations will be reviewed extensively in the coming weeks. We are confident that the team we ultimately choose will carry out our vision of creating a state-of-the-art fire station and a thriving, attractive and sustainable city center as a part of our downtown revitalization initiative.”

The Harrison Street property is located between Huguenot and Main Streets, just east of the core Downtown area and in close proximity to I-95. It is the current site of New Rochelle Fire Department Station #1 Current zoning allows for a building up to 28 stories in height.
