Welcome! The Department of Parks and Recreation provides year-round programs and services for all ages and abilities throughout every neighborhood, spanning active sports and athletics, cultural enrichment opportunities and passive leisure experiences. Our Department maintains a diverse park system, including many playgrounds, active and natural recreational areas, and a full-service marina. Boating, fishing, picnicking, special events, basketball, softball, tennis, summer camps, swimming, hiking, gardening, senior recreation and therapeutic recreation are fun activities you can enjoy from our department.
