Westchester County DPWT-DEF work at Hudson Park and Drake Ave.

Hudson Park 

  • Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPWT) and Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities (DEF) will be upgrading a County owned structure located in Hudson Park to improve the County’s sanitary sewer system.  The upgrades include replacing the above grade structure with a new structure, installing new internal mechanical equipment, new overhead electrical service and HVAC equipment.  Work on a manhole adjacent to the walking path near the structure will be done.  Construction vehicles and equipment will occupy a limited portion of the park during construction and the site will be surrounded by a temporary construction fence.  The work will begin on September 7, 2021 and is scheduled to be completed in December of 2022.

Drake Avenue 

  • Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPWT) and Westchester County Department of Environmental Facilities (DEF) will be upgrading a County owned structure located next to the parking area at the end of Drake Avenue, adjacent to the marina, to improve the County’s sanitary sewer system.  The upgrades include installing a new above grade structure, installing new internal mechanical equipment, new below grade electrical service and HVAC equipment.  Construction vehicles and equipment will occupy a limited portion of the parking lot during construction and the site will be surrounded by a temporary construction fence.  The work will begin on September 7, 2021 and is scheduled to be completed in December of 2022.
