Job Opening - Executive Director of IT

The City of New Rochelle is seeking an experienced professional to be the Executive Director of the Office of Information Technology. The Executive Director shall provide City-wide management and direction for the use of technology for information systems and geographic information systems, as well as develop and monitor technology approaches to provide City-wide support to all departments. This individual will supervise the computer network, web page, and all centralized computer operations. This individual will assess technological change and computer industry trends as they effect the City’s information technology needs. Further, this individual will take the leadership role in reengineering business processes and the underlying IT infrastructures to achieve more productive, efficient, and valuable use of systems and information within the City.

Acceptable Training & Experience:

A bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in an Information Technology Department with exposure to networking, servers, and customer support; 5 of those years in a responsible supervisory/management position in an IT Department; OR An associate’s degree with 12 years of experience as defined above; AND 7 of those years in a responsible supervisory/management position in an IT Department; OR A high school diploma with 14 years of experience as defined above; AND 9 of those years in a responsible supervisory/management position in an IT Department;

Salary Range: $113,812-$165,358
