Mission |
The City owns and operates a full service Municipal Marina. The Bureau of Marinas, Docks and Harbors contains approximately 300 boat slips and 150 mooring spaces that are rented on a seasonal basis, primarily for residents of New Rochelle. The Bureau which operates as an Enterprise fund provides primary services to boat owners, including hauling, launching and wet/dry boat storage. The Marina acts as a gateway to the beautiful Long Island Sound for canoes and kayakers, and offers a fuel dock and state of the art pump out station which is vital for recreational boating. Together with the aforementioned services the Marina facility hosts many events.
