Kathleen Gill has spent the majority of her career in public service to the City of New Rochelle. She was hired in 1995 as the Assistant Corporation Counsel and in 1997 was appointed Deputy Corporation Counsel. She served as Deputy Corporation Counsel for the next 12 years, during which she was responsible for handling various legal proceedings from inception through trial, including appeals. She also served as legal advisor to the Planning and Zoning Boards and City staff on zoning and development issues. Ms. Gill was appointed Corporation Counsel in November 2009.

Ms. Gill obtained her undergraduate degree from Skidmore College.  She obtained a Master of Science in Urban and Environmental Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.  She obtained a law degree and Environmental Certificate from Pace University School of Law where she was an Editor on the Environmental Law Review.

Ms Gill currently is a member of the New York and New Rochelle Bar Associations.

Ms. Gill lives in New Rochelle with her husband and three children.
