Fall Leaf Collection
NOTE: Effective October 2014, City of New Rochelle will require all fall leaves to be bagged for collection. Property owners will be alerted of the new guidelines through mailings, signage, and this website. Details to follow.

Leaf Collection Do's and Don'ts
DO
-Place leaves in brown recycling bags for pickup OR mulch mow your lawn. For information on mulch mowing, visit the "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em" website
DON'T
-Put leaves in plastic bags 

Leaf Blowers

Leaf blowers may be used from October 1 through May 31, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Click on the map link to find your section. Then click on the section link to view a list of streets that are grouped geographically from top to bottom. A leaf collection crew will be assigned to each section and you may view the crews' progress through the section as the streets appearing in red have been completed.

These lists will be updated frequently. Progress through these areas will vary as a result of weather conditions and the rate at which leaves fall. Please note: once each section receives a thrid pass for curbside removal, any remaining leaves must be placed in brown paper bags or spare trash cans for removal by City Personnel.
